The devoloper team has released the first demo for this, and I have to say, it's looking great. It only features 3 flyable ships (Viper Mk II, Viper Mk VII and Cylon Raider) and no Battlestars nor Basestars, but they're coming. There's some rumors of the Blackbird being included later on aswell, but nothing official AFAIK, but there's definately going to be Raptors.
The demo has a campaign of 3 missions, which should be enough to get you interested. If you find yourself completing all the missions, see the forums for 3rd party missions and campaigns.
The demo includes a mission editor aswell. Been reading the forums and apparently the game supports up to 400 units in a mission at once, so should get some pretty tense battles going on, especially once the capital ships get included.
There's also a fully working multiplayer included, which should provide you further challenge if the Cylons aren't enough of a challenge for you. Be sure to read the second post in this topic, because there's still some quirks to get the multiplayer working properly.

But TBH even with glide, if both are using it, it degrades into circleflying. Moreso with open maps.
Turns in to an entirely different ballgame when you go in to a closed space, like inside the scar asteroid, now THAT'S dogfighting.

Yeah the game is awesome guys! The feel of flying thrue rocks(Obviously by destroying them XD) and meteorites while shooting and getting shot at. This game will be lots of fun with even more people!
Go to the Manual and read it to have the game running correctly in either SP and MP! Also keep the SP profile name on Nugget. MP doesn't matter.

Khaze Gladly made me a control setup. Here is the code, simply copy and paste it into a text and save it. The problem is though I do NOT know where the controls are saved in. So you have to redo it on both SP and MP!
