How about Forae? sounds cool to me. Forum is a second declension neuter noun. The -ae inflection for the plural nominative only occurs with first declension nouns: so it is 'fora' and not 'forae' I'm afraid. OT: Lolzoarz at the MB team. Why would people pay for a forum? Gamers are generally so cheap that they barely pay for games anymore, let alone pay for the fora of a mod for an old game. |

MB2 is almost dead already let's face it  it happened this year mostly. We are not dead yet, our server is just empty, i would play mb2 but there are no more decent servers (ours would be but its empty all the time) //Edit There are 133 players playing MB2 in world atm. on Summer there were at least 800 playing at the same time (17 GMT). Did you know btw that there was one alltime cheats enabled mb2 server but it has been offline most of time ^^ |

MovieBattles is just getting tiresome. Simple fact. I'm going to start looking into Battlefield 2142, possibly Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas. Seen it played on an Xbox 360. Co-op looks niceish... I'll probably be sticking with Jaat for quite some while, I'll be definitely missing Duke and Khaze though. Shame there aren't common games we play. Menion has been long gone, which is a d**n shame too.
I'll be probably taking a peek at MB2 sometimes. I'll definitely keep idling on the mb2 irc channel once my army service ends.
Jaat and MindHunter are looking forward to Age of Conan. I'm carefully optimistic about it. Will see how it'll be.
I might just continue playing WoW as well, but not forever though. Whatever happens, I'm probably going to find a community filled with English-speaking members and a ventrilo/TS2 server. Spoken English... is a big reason why I'm still into online gaming... with mature gamers.

I knew we would reach that point again since playing b18.. Though I never thought it went that fast.. Since I haven't played for the last few months without missing anything but the good gameplay with out in older builts, I can consider me as retired too. I will stay at some racing games and some singleplayer rpgs/shooters to relax after uni. I don't feel any wish to join another community, apart from a total lack of time. Though I have every few days a look into our forums ^^ And if I only spam to annoy Gab |

This thread is actually about MB fora (^^) and not the end of BG. Still you are right, most of us have just moved on, getting a life or another game. MovieBattles is just getting tiresome. Shame there aren't common games we play. <3 TZ IRC is one thing that won't die out, the channel will allways be around, perhaps i will just get a new game, lets see... but i'll NEVAR get an xbox360 !! or, i will just play with my gf, she has damn many buttons i like to push, and mods to play (dancing mod, goofy mod, rage and rant mod, x-rated mod, etc... 1000 different skins-with only 1 model, no lag, gfx are way better than on xbox 360, and she ain't a n00b hehe)...just try to beat that Though she does have bugs sometimes- keeps bugging me lol Plus, there is a game called: "work your a$$ up the ladder and boot your evil enemy colleages out for the simple sake of your job and career"- money talks and bull$hit walks anyway. our server rental ends on April 29th, so we're definitally not at BG's end just yet, damnit Tiger!  The last really good time i had with MB was a couple months back when our server had 22 players...all vets i knew and -more important- liked...and we were playing Cloud City. That just so reminded me of the times of b15-b17  all things end, thats a known constant in our universe. But all good things end with a big bad b00m, that's just my opinion. So Rage, keep an extra nade handy for that time, i'll save my rocket for a change instead of wasting it on myself :/ |

Good speech Duke, *uses garageband to make huge applaude* Well my reason i have been not-gaming atm is that i have moved to Mac and also my PC keeps crashing out without reason I still love mb2 and i hope i can work something out to get playing again (if there is ppl on server) Other reason is school, i am at school 6-17:20 every day, and after that homework. I can only spare few hours a week to play any games. Btw, I play LOTRO so if anyone plays it just "blow it out your ass" (-Duke Nukem) -Shade |
