I'm suprised I hadn't asked this before but. Do any of you actually play a music instrument?
I play guitar for a while now and I'm working on Classical Gas at the moment. Have learned previous songs like stairway to heaven, master of puppets and layla / cocain from clapton.
I play with a Paul Reed Smith SE Singlecut in tabaco sunburst, great solo guitar with a Line 6 Spider III AMP.
My first guitar was a washburn x-10 , beginners guitar, nothing special. And already own a nice aucoustic guitar but can't remember the brand, looking for a new one btw.
So post the songs you can play / are learning, what instrument you play and the brand.

Unknown brand Piano me Been playing for about 12'ish years now, finished a classical education first (9 years) and bussy with jazz classes atm. I've tried playing the guitar, but never got past some random chords (pure basics). I'm TRYING to learn on my own atm, but I lack the TIME Accoustic guitar brand: Vanderson, John William Limited Edition (sounds amazing for its price-class) Electric guitar brand: Cort M200 (beginner guitar, I know )

I've been playing guitar for a few years, I can do some Hendrix and Zeppelin stuff, I'm currently learning Crossroads by Cream but I prefer just to improvise stuff in the style of whatever I've been listening to, which is mostly Stevie Ray Vaughan at the moment.

My first guitar was a Westfield Les Paul copy it came with a lil 10W amp that only had treble and bass on it Been playing I dunno.. 3-4 years or so? I play basically anything that I want to learn or play to my mates, I do like learning a real complicated riff once in a while though. I can play master of puppets -and only the start of classical gas because I lost interest- and I never was a zeppelin fan. I like learning killswitch engage because of the riff*ge but its offbeat and really f**ked up timings that I love so I attempt a lot of Fall of Troy songs. I know basically every Rise Against song and Enter Shikari. Right now I have a Washburn X-30, never had the money for anything flashy. Dream guitar would be a PRS though, they are just....... hot (PS why is saying 'riff*ge' censored)

I inherited my dad's acoustic guitar 15 years ago, an Ovation of some type- very good sound. Never really seriously got into playing though. But over the years I discovered this and that chord, and soon tried all kinds of songs starting from Nirvana, Soundgarden, Hendrix and so on... went into bookshops and looked at all the songbooks, writing the chords down on paper in the store when nobody was looking and saved myself a lot of money by not having to buy those books.
But somehow drums were more fascinating so i bought myself a cheap set from Osan and got into that. Then I broke up with my band after like 10 years and gave em away since i lacked the time. In between i got a used Ibanez Blazer series e-guitar, it was cheap and allways detuned itself. It pissed me off so 2-3 years ago i got a used Fender Cyclone, which ist a lot better. I have a H&K Attax 200, sometimes I tune in D or even C.
But i still somehow like acoustic guitar more, I play a LOT of Beatles songs, and some random songs from Clapton, Leadbelly, Radiohead, Metallica etc...

Now lets see. I got guitar (stratocaster copy) and electrickpiano, but my knowledge on those two instruments is very minimal. On the other hand I have been playing drums for about 8 years now. For 6 first years or so I took private lessons. Now playing with my band around 8 to 25 hours a week. At the moment I´m learning some Behemoth, Slayer, Lamb of God and Metallica.

I play organs more precise hammond organs. We have had organs in our home for like 20 years, so that explains why I play organs not piano I have had no education, but learned myself.
