Origins of names

Hey all,

I'd love to know where all your nicknames came from.
I'll go first:

I started out as Gabriel, because as a kid I used to be fascinated by angels. Gabriël being one of the archangels and a less comon name then Michael, I picked Gabriel.

Later on, waay later actually, I met someone named Tigeress, and we got along. So as a prank at first, I changed my name to Tiger. And everyone on moviebattles now knows me as Tiger

First name I remember I had on jk was Jimmis... (I dont know what my name was when i played jkdf with my brother) and I had that name on jk2 and on the 3 first MBs (I think I played 3 MBs before B15...)
Later when jka comes i renamed to GreenEagle (I hate both names now ),and quit MB (Dont now why... ) And play jka instead

Well later i renamed to Jirec (my real name is Jim so i want somthing that started with J), and i forgot that jkdf evil guy was named Jerec...

I had all name with Blue and Green colours cuz my favorite colour is green and my second is blue ;D

And comes to B15 with name Jirec

Eheh, Gabber = Dutch for friend, and a distorted form in Flanders (no idea if it's the same on The Netherlands) for hardcore lovers

I was just thinkin of names for games and picked serien. thought it sounded cool ;D

I played JK2 and I went from Radeon to Phaze, then to Phazefusion, then to Renegade
Same with JKA and CSS, I had a whole list of nicknames.. but those are my Favourites

i woz playing tant in b15 as a storm trooper i woznt used to the game and i sucked as every other class but solider so i didnt kno wot to name myself.. i woz a stormi trooper? so i put a 'i' on the end lol later that day i got recruited by BG so i love that name its special!

I originally started off as Legolas (with my obsession with lord of the rings), then people jus called me Lego anywho along with....'gay elf'....so i jus decided to shorten my name to Lego ;D

Now I jus get the none stop 'lego my ego' comments

I've even said ''Lego my Ego'' to him once...long time ago.

I made up my name for KOTOR because I wanted an original name that would be rare. I knew I wanted a Z in it somewhere, and the word Valor popped in my head, so that became Zalor. (pronounced ZAY-LOR)

Then I wanted a strong and partially evil sounding last name. I took some of it from one of my favorite Bad Guys, Shao Khan. I was also playing Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal at the time and I liked the ''aal'' part.
Put em together and I got Khaal. (pronounced Call - like a telephone Call)

I back from name Scorpio to Aras ... and im using it because it scrout of my real name ARkAdiuSz - u see big letters ?? Ehhh im sure u see - thats how my ingame name began

awww i cant guess.

my first name was Mister Padawan (where it came from brrr)

then i played with name Jango Fett whats name most ppl know me. from b15 to b17
then i turned only to jango and alteregoes as Jingles and Shade jingles came from saberfang who said me jingles (so i started call him fungus ) shade came from shadow but was too original so i turned it to shade....the death

Originally mine was Malak the Light, malak being darth Malak from Kotor and the light part from that originally my revan became a jedi right and then at the end malak asks revan: what would things have been like if he was captured and brainwashed instead of Revan and thats where my name came from.

Like if there were any stormtroopers in b15
And i got my name because the registrating form says this username is already taken

In Halo they had funny nicknames for things, like they called their jeep the 'warthog', and their grenades for 'hoggis'.

They would be like, "Throw a hoggis!", "Hoggis! take cover!"

I thougt that was funny and have used it for awhile now ^^

Hmm, well the actual name of the jeep is the warthog, I'm not sure what version of halo you were playing.. in mine they clearly say grenade.

Anyways, origin of my name.. well. Originally I was TheMeanestGuest (which is my name in almost all other games), then I joined a noobily clan in B15 and my name wouldn't fit with the tags.. I don't remember how I became Meister... heh.

I had many names, and I'm not very imaginative when it comes to that, e.g. 'Master Turkey' in JK2-JO, (the bird some folks eat at thanksgiving, not the friggin' country ffs).
Later the name was too stupid even for me...so I changed it to 'Jubei'.

Then in JA I had the name Rastamasta, cuz I had dreadlocks. Duke occured to me after I saw the movie "The Boondock Saints". The Duke was my second favorite character, right after the FBI agent played by Willem Dafoe. Of course I somewhat changed it to the legendary 'Duke of Puke' aka 'Duke of Nuke' aka 'Duke of Fluke' and so on. After I joined BG (yay!) I thought I should just leave out the Puke part, simply not to embarrass the team, so I became 'Duke'.

btw, I never played Duke Nukem and I never will.

Mine came from when i was recuited in base JA, by none other than GuanWolf (now GS). At the time i was just Jango Fett, so i decided i needed a better name, and thought up with saberfang on the spot. Arranged the same way as Guans, it became SaberFang.
