There are rumours spreading throughout the gaming community, the processor used for the PS3 will be FAR ahead of any console. It would even go above and beyond, rumours have it, it will even have better graphics then the PC If there's anyone tracking the development, feel free to post some regular updates I wanna know MORE!

If all the things they said about it ARE true, it will have to be in the £300+ limit, probably more.

This baby is DEFINATELY something I am going to get. The starting price should be around 300 euros without the gadgets you can get (headset etc.), but it will quickly lower with the following months after the release, as seen with PSX and PS2.

I dunno what to think about the ps3, yes the specs look very good but i want to see some proof of their abilities. Yes that killzone trailer looks amazing but is it a video or in game? I think the 360 has a good chance of giving ps3 a run for its money now as it has an established online community and a far better system than sony plus im no fan of microsoft but i like the 360 design The only thing i think will let the 360 down is not enough recognised games apart from the halo stuff. Im hoping i can blag any console from my uni as a helpful measure to be more productive in my games design part

With that stuff, it would HAVE to cost as much as a top of the range PC, either that or they're stealing all the stuff from random shops.
As for Xbox360, guh, Why bother? It's just gonna be another PC made into a console, all the games it will have will be on PC so there's no point in getting it. Also, I hear you're gonna have to buy things online to complete the games you've already bought, wtf?

Really?! i know the only thing which is typical with bill gates is that he doesnt want any 3rd party hardware working on the console, so we have to buy all official controllers etc ok i do anyway but ffs why stop when theres no harm done apart from the money going straight to his pocket

Just to note: The Xbox 360 will be using a faster processor than the PS3 (4200 or more), and plays mp3s, DVDs, CDs etc just like the PS3, although from what ive read here, i'd say the PS3 looks better.

Meh, X-box 360 will probably be another crappy computer, Playstation has never appealed to me much. If I get any of them it will be the Revolution, if only for Zelda, Super Smash Brothers and (hopefully) a Paper Mario 3. Though, I'll probably not get any.
